JUVÉDERM® dermal fillers have cross-linked hyaluronic acid which means it remains clumped together, slowing the rate of absorption for longer-lasting results. Juvederm offers a range of products with different levels of “liftability” for different areas of the face and results are seen instantly.

The Juvederm® Collection

Smooth Those Smile Lines, $595/syringe

First approved by the FDA in 2006, JUVÉDERM® XC corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the parentheses lines or “smile lines” around the nose and mouth. JUVÉDERM® XC is injected into areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur to temporarily add volume to the skin, which may give the appearance of a smoother surface.

JUVÉDERM® XC lasts up to one year with optimal treatment.

Full Lips and Smooth Smile Lines, $595/syringe

JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC is an injectable gel that temporarily adds more fullness and plumps thin lips—whether your lips have thinned over time or you simply want fuller lips—in adults over the age of 21.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC is also approved for smoothing and correcting moderate to severe parentheses lines, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines around the nose and mouth), in adults.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC lasts up to one year, with optimal treatment.

Smooth Lines Around the Nose and Mouth, $595/syringe

JUVÉDERM VOLLURE XC is injected into the areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur, including the “parentheses lines” around the nose and mouth. JUVÉDERM VOLLURE XC is designed to temporarily correct facial wrinkles for a smoother appearance to the face for adults over the age of 21.

The clinical study demonstrated JUVÉDERM VOLLURE XC lasts up to 18 months, with optimal treatment.

Plump those Lips, $595/syringe

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC injectable gel is for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines, often called “lipstick lines” in adults over the age of 21.

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC lasts up to 1 year, with optimal treatment.

Lift and Contour Cheeks, $850/syringe

As you age, the cheeks may flatten and the skin may begin to sag. This is caused by natural loss of volume in the cheek area, or what the experts call age-related midface volume loss. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is designed to add volume beneath the skin’s surface, which provides lift and contour to the cheek area.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC is also an FDA-approved filler to shape the chin.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC provides natural-looking and long-lasting results that last up to 2 years with optimal treatment.

Fillers instantly help smooth lines and wrinkles, soften creases, enhance facial contours, and restore lost volume. Research also suggests that HA injections may stimulate your body’s collagen production, for increased skin firmness and elasticity.

Fillers aren’t effective for treating sagging skin, and they’re not a substitute for a surgical facelift. They work best for people who’ve lost some facial volume but still have good skin elasticity.

Your appointment will start with you and your injector discussing your goals, your facial anatomy, and the best type of filler to safely get the look you’re after. They should also go over the potential risks. After the consultation your skin will be cleansed with alcohol or an antiseptic. Your provider will then slowly inject the filler, gently massaging the area with their fingertips to distribute it. You’ll likely get several injections in one area for even distribution. Most Juvéderm fillers contain lidocaine to instantly numb the area so your treatment shouldn’t be painful, but you might feel some mild discomfort.

You won’t need downtime, but the injection site will likely be tender, with mild bruising and swelling, for a week or two after your treatment. Applying ice or a cold compress intermittently after injections can help ease the swelling. Juvéderm lip filler is most prone to cause swelling, because lips have such a good blood supply, but it can happen anywhere the filler is injected. It’s normal for lumps and bumps to occur after filler, particularly when it’s placed in sensitive areas, like the lips. They can form during injection (the doctor will smooth them out), but they often become more noticeable after some of the swelling goes down. They usually resolve on their own, but you can help the process along by applying ice and massaging the area.
